Home Helpers Honors Caregiver Lorraine Pasquella
Congratulations to Lorraine Pasquella, a caregiver with the Home Helpers office in Drexel Hill, for receiving the Home Helpers Caregiver of the 4th Quarter, 2010 nomination. The quarterly recognition was developed by the Home Helpers corporate office to allow Home Helpers franchises to recognize a caregiver who truly exemplifies the organization’s caregiving mission: to care for people like they are family members.
Lorraine has been a caregiver with Home Helpers for just over three years, and despite a hearing disability of her own, she always manages to go above and beyond for all of her clients. “Lorraine is a person we can rely on no matter what is going on,” says Michelle Brown, President of the Drexel Hill office. “Rain, snow or shine, she makes every effort to arrive on time to her clients with a friendly smile and enthusiasm bursting at the seams.”
Recently, Lorraine was assigned to a client who had not been out of her apartment for years and refused to take a shower. Within two days, Lorraine was able to get the client to agree to shower and go outside in her wheelchair to enjoy a beautiful sunny day. Both the client and her husband adore Lorraine and cannot thank Home Helpers enough for making such a big difference in their everyday lives.
“Lorraine is certainly well-deserving of this honor, and we thank her for all her contributions to Home Helpers,” added Brown.
