Home Helpers Sponsors Parish Nurse Program- "Body, Mind and Spirit: A Wholistic Approach to Alzheimer’s Disease"

Home Helpers is honored to be a gold sponsor for the Parish Nurse Summer Camp, held by the Parish Nurse Program Coordinator Network, an advisory committee to the North Penn Visiting Nurse Association’s Faith Community Nursing Program. Held annually, the Summer Camp is a one-day event that hosts over 100 Faith Community Nurses and individuals involved in Health Ministry from North Penn, Indian Valley and surrounding areas. The Summer Camp theme this year is “Body, Mind and Spirit: A Wholistic Approach to Alzheimer’s disease." Camp will be held at Branch Creek Community Church in Harleysville, on Friday July 29th, 2011.
The Parish Nurse Program Coordinator’s Network, in response to the calling to integrate faith and health, joins together to provide an environment for peer validation through sharing experience and expertise for the development of inter-faith parish nurse ministries. Supported by sponsoring entities, they provide opportunities for collaboration to enable parish nurses to reflect quality standards of parish nurse practice, promote wellness and embrace the ethical values of faith and health.
