Media, Pa., July 15, 2011—There are many ways to become involved in the fight against cancer and today, Home Helpers Delaware Valley Marketing co-op (offices serving Bucks County, Berks County, Chester County, Delaware County, Montgomery County, Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley) has announced they will partner with Great Guys Group, a non-profit organization in Wayne, Pa., that provides resources to families burdened by cancer. As part of the partnership, Home Helpers will offer in-home non-medical care services at a discounted rate to local families who receive financial assistance from Great Guys Group.

Home Helpers offers a full range of non-medical caregiving services for people coping with a lifelong illness or disability, those recuperating from a recent surgery or hospitalization and seniors.  “Our services empower our clients to have the best possible life experience given their own personal situation,” says Tom Carroll, President of the Home Helpers co-op.  “Our mission is to enable our clients to live happier and more rewarding lives in the privacy, safety and comfort of their own homes. So you can see why our relationship with Great Guys is a great fit.”

The Great Guys Group is dedicated to Bringing Hope Home to the community by financially and emotionally supporting local cancer patients and their families. With the donations received, the organization is directly helping to keep these local families who are battling cancer in their homes, with the lights on, heat and air pumped up and phones working.  “What makes Home Helpers such a great part of Great Guys is the opportunity to fulfill a need to our families that we didn’t know was out there,” says Paul Isenberg, CEO and Founder of Great Guys Group. “Their unique offerings at discounted rates and their corporate sponsorship are a strong testament to their commitment to our organization!”

In addition to partnering for services, the two organizations have also teamed up for the Home Helpers Ruby 5K Run & Walk.  This event will be held on October 22, 2011, in Rose Tree Park, Delaware County.  All proceeds will benefit Great Guys.
