Superior Home Care is now available to residents of Southern New Jersey. Compassion, professionalism and ease of administration signify the basic components of our company. We go to the extreme when choosing caregivers to be part of our team. Our staff is comprised of Certified Home Health Aides, registered nurses and in-house professionals who are available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week to assist you with all of your non-medical home care needs. Our skills and experience are simply the best in the business!
Home Helpers of South Jersey recognizes that each individual in need of care has his or her own set of requests and requirements. With this in mind, we customize each case and devise an individual care plan for each client. Clients’ needs can vary from around-the-clock live-in care to simple transportation to an appointment. Unlike the competition, we offer a unique shift requirement of only two hours and no minimum number of hours per week.
Since our inception, we have received several referrals from well respected organizations such as; Fox Rehabilitation, Holy Redeemer Hospice, Manor Care Rehabilitation Center, Gloucester County Division of Health and Senior Services, Woodbury Mews, and The Law Offices of Jerold Rothkoff. We have also been cited and recognized by Gloucester County Times, The Courier Post, The Catholic Star Herald as well as KYW News Radio.
We pride ourselves in giving back to the community by involvement with beneficial causes such as The Great Guys Group , a non-profit organization that provides financial resources to families burdened by cancer , The Alzheimer’s Association, Go Red for Women Heart Association, and personally providing presentations and conducting forums at various types of community support groups.
Home Helpers of South Jersey is owned and operated by sisters; Marcy Schachinger and Nancy Hogan. We both have a personal conviction to our work based on our own life experiences. Our mother and father both succumbed to serious illnesses several years ago, but through their illnesses, we were fortunate to have found incredible home health aides to care for them. We understand firsthand what families are experiencing when faced with caring for a loved one!
Our main goal for starting Home Helpers of South Jersey is to provide that same level of services to other families in the region. We are happy to say that this goal has been attained.

Meet Our Team!
Marcy Schachinger - Partner, President
Marcy earned a BS in Finance and Marketing from Villanova University in 1990. Prior to opening her Home Helpers business, Marcy was a Financial Analyst For Sunoco, Inc. after graduating from Villanova. She then moved on to a career in health insurance marketing as a Marketing Executive with both CIGNA and ultimately Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia for close to a decade.
Nancy Hogan - Partner, Marketing Director
Nancy earned a BA in Liberal Arts from Villanova University in 1981. Prior to opening her Home Helpers business, Nancy had a long career in the health insurance industry working for companies such as Aetna and ultimately as a Marketing Manager for Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia as well!
