Caring for a loved one at home who has Alzheimer’s or dementia can be a daunting task.  It is important to find meaningful activities for both of you to participate in.  Having a plan for getting through the day can help both caregivers and patients cope.  Here are some helpful activities to utilize throughout the day:

This is a great list of ideas. The painting photo remind me of a documentary we just got on amazon called "I Remember Better When I Paint" - it is about how the creative arts helps those with Alzheimer's. Worth seeing. Take pictures of them or both of you together and show them immediately! I did this and my client found this amazing and very fun. Also makes them feel as they are a important part of your life!

i am a care giver for an agency i find i can deal with them more so my mom i am the oldest of 7 and there are grand and great childre n 
 
to know how she was before to nowit becomes very hard i am 64 yrs old and its is hard 
 
my single brother whos lives with her take fullcare of her when he not working a full and part time job she looks 4 him to do everything 4 her at times the rest of us carind 4 her have a diffult time 
 
we are trying 2 keep her at home but some time it seems the right thing 2 do she is 82 yrs old 
 
the dr says out the dementia she is fine old illness but she ok 
 
any one whodeals with a love 1 knows
